Originally from a small town outside of Calgary, Morgan grew up a lover of the arts, fashion and making a statement. After graduating high school, she attended The University of Lethbridge followed by Emily Carr University of Art and Design in various arts programs. Her move to Vancouver for Emily Carr set her on a path through other industries before a well-timed and serendipitous interview with The Optical Boutique owner, Sue, in 2019. Morgan can vividly recall the first time she put on a pair of prescription glasses, as it is literally a life changing moment. This memory serves as the foundation of her drive to help those who just want to see the world for what it is, while remaining comfortable and confident. Her love of her practice has manifested itself as post-secondary courses with The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, with the goal of becoming a certified licensed optician. A challenger of the status-quo, Morgan continues to express herself through her clothes, hair, photography and of course… frames.
